Welcome!
I’m Adriana, a social scientist with a passion for turning complex research ideas into structured, well-run projects.
I recently defended my doctoral dissertation within the IMPRS-SPCE program, a program between the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Societies, the University of Duisburg-Essen, and the University of Cologne.
In my doctoral project, I examined the political participation of children of immigrants. Using an intersectional and transnational approach, I paid special attention to how their embeddedness across countries shaped their life experiences and eventual political engagement.
As a social scientist, I am familiar with both qualitative and quantitative methodologies, as well as the application of mixed-methods approaches. Alongside my work as a scientist, I have experience in higher education, private industry, and the NGO sector, where I have held coordinating and analyst roles.
